Canadian Tulip Festival 2010
Amerigo Tours, Inc. is proud to be chosen for the 14th year in a row as one of the official tour operators
for the 2010 Canadian Tulip Festival held in Ottawa, from May 07 – 24 inclusive. Since 2010 marks the
65th anniversary of the liberation of Dutch people the focus of this year’s Festival will be honouring our
veterans and troops.
* Opening day will commence with a late afternoon tribute to our veterans and troops at the
War Memorial followed by an evening Liberation “Street Party”
* On May 08th the Festival will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Navy
founded in 1910. There will be naval shows @ Dow’s Lake.
* There will be over three million glorious tulips in bloom to view.
We except 2010 to be a successful year! Back by popular demand is the International Pavilion, home to
over 24 participating embassies and local community groups. Enjoy a variety of international
entertainment, taste exquisite international cuisine, dip into history and explore a variety of traditions.
Experience the new Beer Garden and watch the amazing Buskers perform in the Park.
